J-Press®
The J-Press® sidebar and overhead filter presses are among the most efficient, widely used liquid/solids filtration and separation equipment in the market today. The J-Press® filter press is equipped with either chamber or diaphragm (membrane) squeeze plates and is a very cost effective method for producing high solids filter cake, along with an extremely high degree of clarity in the liquid effluent.
With capacities ranging from 0.1 ft3 (3L) to 500 ft3 (14m3), there is a J-Press filter press solution for your application.
An effective, minimal-maintenance solution to continuous solids dewatering or thickening, the Centramax™ centrifuge is a versatile system that is easy to operate and requires little operator attention.
The Centramax™ centrifuge is available in one, two and three-phase models capable of adapting to varying throughput and process/material types. The enclosed design is very effective in reducing odor emission while dampening noise levels. The small foot-print and minimal exposure to moving parts are beneficial in many applications.

Belt Filter Presses
Siemens provides a wide range of belt filter presses for continuous dewatering. Dynamic Radial Wedge Belt Press (DRW) is the most technologically advanced belt press in the world today, featuring belt widths to 3.0 m, a unique radial wedge roll for minimal power consumption, 15 pressure rollers and 725 square feet filtration area for highest cake solids performance. The Static Radial Wedge Belt Press (SRW) also offers exceptional dewatering performance, while the simple and compact design of the Compact Belt Press combines outstanding performance with low capital costs and minimal floor space.
ELODE® Electro-Osmosis Dehydrator
ELODE is the World’s First “Field-Proven“ Commercialized Electro-Osmotic Dewatering Technology ELODE system produces high dryness resulting in significant reduction in sludge storage or incineration costs. The ELODE system can achieve reduction in final cake weight/volume of 40% or better, saving on transportation and landfill disposal costs and enabling energy recovery.
With its low energy consumption, the ELODE system is more energy efficient than conventional dryers. The ELODE system is versatile and can be easily integrated into existing dewatering systems. The compact size minimizes infrastructure cost.
Sludge Dryers
Thermal drying is a process for the reduction of the volume of wet solid products, by removing the moisture and achieving dry solids concentration over 90%. This process has proven applications in both the environmental field (volume reduction of sludges from wastewater treatment plants) as well as in production processes of industries, such as chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing and minerals processing.
In the thermal drying process, the final product is stabilized in a dry granular form that simplifies the storage, delivery, use or disposal.

Gravity Belt Thickener
Our Gravity Belt Thickener is designed to deliver higher solids at efficient operating costs, adding value to your biosolids dewatering strategy.
The Gravity Belt Thickener (GBT) is a low power, high capacity thickening device designed to operate in continuous, high throughput applications.
A few of the features included to maximize performance and minimize maintenance are:
- Replaceable plow shoes.
- Pneumatically actuated rack and pinion tensioning.
- Variable speed drive motor.
Available in 1.2, 2, 3, and 4-meter belt width designs, the GBT can process a wide range of sludges, flows and solids concentration.
